History

CES Energy is a specialist global energy company that was formed in Ireland in 1998.

CES Energy provides meaningful financial savings to business by efficiently generating electricity, heat and cooling onsite at our customer  facilities, rather than using conventional power such as electricity from the grid and from onsite boilers. We generate power from fossil fuels and renewable energy sources, combined with engineering excellence we deliver the most energy efficient solution. CES Energy has a proven track record in the successful delivery of cleaner energy in Ireland, England, Australia and The Middle East.

We provide leading edge decentralised or precinct, co-generation or tri-generation energy solutions using a team of highly qualified and experience people. We also work with some of the globe’s largest companies to deliver energy solutions including Siemens, General Electric, Rolls Royce and Daikin.

Since our commencement our customer list has grown to include many of the leading companies within the Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Commercial Office Building, Healthcare, Leisure and Data Centre sectors.

In 2006 CES Energy started a business in Australia that has led to the development of a tri-generation strategy for the City of Sydney aimed at delivering 360 MWe of decentralised power via a network of energy centres combined with district cooling. This strategy is now being implemented, helping Sydney meet its energy demand and carbon dioxide reduction targets.

Key advantages of our solution are reduced energy costs, increased resilience, reduced CO2 emission and lower set up costs.

Our focus on the onsite power generation has allowed us to  establish a series of strategic relationships within the sector across Ireland, UK, Saudi Arabia and Australia. Strategic partners include Eon, Siemens, Coillte, MTU and Petroleum Chemicals & Mining Company (PCMC).

Our solutions are delivered through a variety of models including EPC (Engineer, Procure and Construct), BOOT (Build Own Operate Transfer) and ESCo (Energy Supply Company).

The company is privately owned, its operating units are Design, Procurement & Sales, Delivery, Maintenance & Administration.
